Cedar Ridge Pet Policy
As pet lovers we often think of our pets as part of our family, and most people like to travel with their pets. We are animal lovers our selves and understand that. That is why we do allow dogs we have several of our own. But as pet owners that travel with our pets, you must remember you are not at home and neither is your dog. Lots of lodging businesses don't allow dogs, and mostly that is because they have been "burned" so to speak. That is why we have these rules. We want to continue to allow pets. Please read these rules before making your decision to travel with your pet.
If rules are not abided by;
- you may have to pay for their lodging.
- you could be banned from staying here again.
Rules
- All dogs must be crated when left alone in the cabins. If you don't have a crate, we have a crate available that can be rented.
- Dogs that sleep in the beds will be liable to pay a per person lodging rate. We keep our cabins spotless for our guests. If dogs sleep on the furniture or bedding then we have to wash everything they touch.
- Please clean up your dogs excrement, daily. Bring your tools with you. We will charge a fee if this is not done.
- No incessantly barking dogs period! In the cabins or outside.
- Dogs are not to be left tied up outside. Not only is it cruel to leave a dog out in the heat (or extreme cold), but tied out dogs tend to bark.
- No Females in heat, just prior to heat or directly after. We have male dogs as well as other guests may have. It's not fun to spend the week listening to our male dogs whine & drool over his lost love.
- Dogs are not allowed, that do not get along with other dogs and other people, children especially. Unless you keep them crated at all times, please keep them home.
- You are responsible to pay for any damage your pet has done. That includes scratches on the doors and windows frames caused by dogs jumping on them. And this same rule is in effect for dog fights with other dogs on our property, and human safety as well.
- Be mindful of other guests, Respect their space and feelings about dogs. Hal and I love dogs, but not everyone shares that love.
- No dogs in the pool or on the pool deck
If you have a well mannered dog and want to leave your dog for the day in the cabin (crated) for a small fee we can arrange for a "dog sitter" to come and take your dog for a short walk. Your dog must be leash trained and good with people.
