Winter Sports - Coyote - Snowshoe Hare

As you can see by the photos, there is no shortage of snowshoe hares here in this part of the country. We take guided trips all winter, but the best month is March and late February. When rabbits are paired up for mating and the weather is mild. December, January or February just keep in mind the weather could be to cold for the dogs to catch a good scent.

We offer a combination hunt for snowshoes and coyotes. That way it doesn't matter what the weather is. If it's to cold for the dogs, then go coyote hunting that day. Coyotes pair up in late February and March for breeding the same as rabbits. So often you'll see 2 or more coyotes together.

The season dates for snowshoe is October 1 st - March 31st
The season dates for Coyotes is year round
