The Jackman region offers unparalleled upland game bird hunting throughout hundreds of miles of surrounding wilderness. The area contains countless miles of both active and abandoned woods roads, plus numerous clear cuts in various stages of regrowth. Almost all of which host both grouse and woodcock. A heyday for gunners with their dogs. Clients have seen as many as 20-30 flushes a day. Enough to wear any dog (or hunter) out. 2008 Bird Season Dates October 1st - December 31st
These next dates are the dates that we book for guided bird hunts. Grouse & woodcock hunting is most often a 3 day hunt/ 4 night. Prices and dates are geared toward that, but we can sometimes taylor it for you.

Prices for a GUIDED 3 day bird hunt
Guided, with our guides own dogs $1,050 each (based on 2 hunters per guide)
Guided, with your dogs $850 each (based on 2 hunters per guide)
Price Includes your guide, 3 hearty meals a day, lodging, sales tax, cooks/cabin gratuities & care of your birds.
Price DOES NOT include your hunting license
Price DOES NOT include tipping your guide
Approximately 30% deposit (check or credit card) is required at time of booking on all hunts. Deposits are non refundable, unless your cancelled spot is refilled.

Meals & Lodging Package for Bird & Snowshow Hare Hunts non guided
(available only October 1st - October 17th & November 2nd - November 28th). 7 nights sunday to sunday $650 per person (based on triple occupancy). Add an additional $50 per person for week if there are only 2 people in your party, this covers the minimum cost on the cabin. Price includes 2 hearty meals a day, lodging, sales tax, cooks & cabin tips. By the night, $125 per day, per person (based on triple occupancy in small 2 bedroom cabin) Add an additional $15 per night per person if there is only 2 people in your party, this covers the cabin minimum
The meal plan is not available after December 5th, unless you have more than 4 people in your party & less than 9, and there is date availability.
Lodging only prices (available 365 days a year)
$235 each - 6/7 nights (price includes sales tax & cabin gratuity). Add an additional $50 per person if your party only only consists of 2 people.
